Our Client is a rapidly growing and respected Specialist Cyber Security Provider offering a dynamic environment for Security Professionals to achieve results and grow their careers. They are now looking for a Data Protection Consultant to be responsible for Supporting Data Protection within the Practice as they develop their Cyber Security Compliance & Governance Services
Key Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Development of Data Protection & Cyber Security Services in line with Current & New Legislation;
- Management of Data Protection Team Members with responsibility for Assessing Data Privacy Compliance and Designing & Implementing Data Protection & Privacy Programs
- Build Data Protection Capability including Cyber Security, Digital & Programme Management
- Advise on Data Protection Compliance Issues such as Impact Assessments, Data Breaches, Third Party Assessments, Privacy Policies & Guidance, Training & Awareness Programmes & Audits
- Work closely with Business Development Team to Develop Strategies
Key Skills & Experience required for the role will include:
- Strong Background within Data Protection, Privacy & Cyber Security Regulations & Standards
- Proven Experience of Working with & Understanding Client’s Business Models & Privacy Requirements
- Experience of working with Supervisory Authorities
- Technical Expertise & Commercial Experience within Compliance, Risk Management, Corporate Governance or Regulatory Issues
- Excellent Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management Skills
- Experience of Preparing & Delivering Presentations
- Professional Qualifications in Privacy & Data Protection
- Cyber Security (including ISO27001, CISSP, CISM) Qualification would be preferred
