Job Summary

The ‘Head of Cyber Services (International) will lead the team that provides cyber risk and incident response services. Duties also include managing operational aspects of the structure reporting to this role, ensuring client satisfaction, working with other business units to develop and improve product and service offerings, identifying relevant trends and determining best handling and most efficient practices, contracting with and managing relationships with service providers, and support of marketing efforts for our clients cyber security products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Global Head of Cyber Services to develop and implement business plans, including setting and meeting efficiency targets, performance targets and management of aggregate exposures.
  • Manage issues resulting from cyber incidents, including working with clients to understand performance of the Cyber Services team and also external counsel and service providers.
  • Support development of Cyber Services offerings and support implementation of changes to coverage/policy terms for current and future Cyber Services offerings.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that services (1 ) support underwriting business plans; (2) are addressing emergent risk trends; and (3) are consistent with insurance policy obligations, and that trends are identified quickly and best handling and most efficient practices are implemented.
  • Direct Cyber Services (International) team, including hiring, developing job roles and management of team members.
  • Ensure high quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • High-level direction and management of service provider relationships including selection, contract negotiation and performance management.
  • Deploy technology solutions, processes and resources as appropriate to maximize efficiency and ensure clients of various sizes are appropriately serviced.
  • Direct, in conjunction with business units, the further development and growth of cyber services opportunities and products.
  • Support development of new products and improve existing products to provide competitive advantage in the marketplace, including loss control, client outreach, risk management offerings and other value added enhancements.
  • High-level direction of marketing efforts for cyber services offerings; including value-add speaking at conferences, client meetings and helping develop marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Build profile of our clients Cyber Services brand throughout the industry.
  • Represent our client at public events, in written and online media, participates in interviews and leads seminars, workshops or other client events.
  • Work with Compliance and counsel (where engaged) to ensure that services meet regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to direct reports as per org chart, manage a team directly across various locations.
  • Ensure that people are recruited, deployed and developed to anticipate and meet current and future needs.
  • Ensure that all employees have the knowledge and the skills necessary to perform effectively in their given roles and responsibilities.

Personal Specification

Education and Qualifications

  • A certification in cybersecurity, privacy, or risk management would be preferred.
  • At least 5 years involving substantial experience in the privacy legal, cyber underwriting, Information Security or IT security areas.
