Our Client is a Blue Chip Tech Supplier experiencing consistently a period of high levels of growth. This has enabled them to further expand their IT Security Team and are now looking for an experienced SOC Analyst to work alongside both their Infrastructure and Digital Forensics Teams, providing Incident Response Services for their highly esteemed Clientele.
Key Responsibilities of SOC Analyst role would include:
Key Member of Cyber Security Incident Response Team.
Assist in Security Audits of Technical Solutions
Perform Monitoring & Analysis of Security Tools & Logs for Indications of Attacks.
Supporting Infrastructure Security & Conducting Vulnerability Scans
Involvement in Security Project Work
Network & Infrastructure Monitoring in Diagnosing Incidents
Key Involvement within Security Incident Response Team
Producing Reports & Documentation Relating to Findings
Skills & Experience required include:
Background / Experience in Cyber Security Policy, Practices & Procedures ideally within SOC Environment
Experience of IDS / IPS & Incident Response
Good Knowledge & Experience around Governance, Risk & Compliance Based Security
Network & Firewall Security Experience
Strong Understanding of ITIL, including Service Operation & Transition.
Possess a good understanding of the technical elements of PCI-DSS and the ISO27001 standard.
Experienced in Understanding, Configuring & Tuning SIEM Products
Good Written & Verbal Communication Skills
