Threat Intelligence Lead Employment type Contract – 6 Month, propensity for renewal. Location Remote – UK Salary – Rates £500- £700 Day Rate SECURE has strategically partnered with a global manufacturing organisation to enhance its cyber security capabilities. We are seeking to engage a Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead to develop and mature Threat Intelligence function. This full-time contract role, will be focused on securing critical infrastructure across manufacturing sites in Europe, whilst working with the global team. Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Threat Intelligence specialist, you will establish and lead the Threat Intelligence function, responsible for identifying and mitigating emerging cyber threats to the group and manufacturing systems. This role requires close collaboration with teams across Europe and delivering strategic insights to the CISO in the US. You will guide the integration of actionable intelligence into daily security operations and provide regular executive briefings, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and prepared to address risks. This leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the company’s cyber security strategy, protect critical infrastructure, and directly influence the global security posture of the organisation. Skills & Experience: • Proven experience in establishing and leading Threat Intelligence programmes in complex environments, with 5+ years in the field. • Expertise in cyber threat intelligence, including OSINT, closed-source intelligence, dark web monitoring, and integration of IOC feeds and TTP mapping into SOC operations. • Consulting and advisory experience, offering expert guidance to senior leadership on security strategies, decision-making, and integrating intelligence into daily workflows. • Strong technical cyber security background, with the ability to design and execute TI processes and establish effective reporting structures. • Experience mentoring and managing junior analysts, ensuring professional development and a high-performing team environment. • Excellent communication skills, adept at delivering executive-level briefings to senior leadership and engaging both technical and non-technical teams. Responsibilities: • Develop and enhance the internal Threat Intelligence (TI) function, ensuring alignment with business and security objectives. • Define and execute TI processes to integrate intelligence seamlessly into SOC operations and broader security workflows. • Provide consulting and advisory support to senior leadership on shaping threat intelligence strategies and responding to emerging threats. • Establish and optimise reporting structures for clear, actionable intelligence communication to senior stakeholders. • Mentor junior analysts, fostering a collaborative team culture and driving continuous learning and development. • Stay up to date with emerging threats and collaborate with Incident Response teams to ensure timely action on critical intelligence.
