Our Client is a prestige Global Organisation working across an increasingly important Data driven industry sector currently looking for talented Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) Manager to Line Manage & Oversee the Day-to-Day running of a newly created Virtual SOC.
This is a heavily Data Driven Practice and you’ll have the opportunity to work 100% Remotely with very Occasional Days Required Onsite in either London or Manchester for Meetings.
They are now looking for a Security Operations Manager to spear head a New Virtual SOC within their Service Delivery Function and you will help shape the Strategy of the Function in terms of Building, Recruiting, Establishing & Leading a Team of Security Analysts tasked with Ensuring Optimum Security of a high number of Clients within a SOC which will initially Provide Managed Detection & Response, Cloud Security & Vulnerability Management as a Service, & which is anticipated to grow considerably over time.
As outlined this is a truly collaborative opportunity, as they are looking for the SOC Manager to bring their experience to the table to help them shape the function in terms of an aggressive Recruitment Strategy, Service Definition, Retention, Tooling Build and anything other key areas of focus that a successful Applicant may feel relevant.
The SOC Team will be responsible for Managing Major Incidents, Triaging & Resolving Events while Managing Threat Intelligence activities across all the Organisation’s Assets working with Senior Members of the company across critical areas of work.
The Engineers & Analysts will have varied levels of experience and you must have experience Managing Teams and be able to Demonstrate High-Level Knowledge within Security Operations
As this role will span a range of services, successful candidates must have experience managing a team and be able to demonstrate high-level knowledge and confidence in the field of Security Operations.
At present, you will have a strong SOC pedigree and are ideally working in a Senior Security Operations Centre (SOC) and be striving for a new challenge within a complex organisation.
